Statement
Originating from the Six Nations community as a Haudenosaunee artist, I am deeply connected to a rich artistic legacy passed down through generations, guided by the wisdom of my grandfather, Chief Jacob Thomas, who was my first mentor in art. Through his teachings, I have recognized the transformative power of art in storytelling, cultural preservation, and fostering positive change.
With a Master's degree in Fine Art from OCAD, I have honed my artistic skills and explored various sculptural styles, combining classical techniques, traditional Haudenosaunee artistry, and abstract forms to develop a distinctive and genuine artistic expression.
Through my art, I aim to communicate the urgent need for unity and collective action in preserving the health of our land and the prosperity of its inhabitants. I draw wisdom from our ancestors and seek to inspire change
