Jamie Printz

I combine organic casting with traditional hand carved wax casting to created silver jewelry adorned with gemstones. All elements of metal are either cast by me or hand-fabricated using traditional techniques by myself. Most of my work will have a hammered or satin polish to them, all applied by hand. Gemstones are incorporated to many pieces, and I carve and drill those as well. My work is inspired by the details of the natural world, and I attempt to capture the texture or pattern of a complex organism while streamlining it into something delicate and simple.
